If you've landed on this page, I'm sure I don't have to tell you how awesome of a show Dexter is. You know when people say "Your love for Dexter has gone from interesting to unsettling"? Yeah – That's me (and probably you too!) haha.
I have had a very "Dexter-y" Birthday Week!
Before receding the awesome Dexter Board Game, my husband came home with a surprise and I mean, it definitely confirmed just how cool he is. How bada@$ are these homemade Blood Spatter Paintings?
Made complete on canvas with thick red oil paint , giving these pictures a very realistic touch!
My pic really does not do his pictures any justice.
The best part is, I had no idea he had these in the works for me.
I am super excited to get them hung up!

Alright, let's get to the real reason why you're here: A review of the game!
Here's what's included in your Dexter Board Game:
1 Die
Board
4 Trash Bags
4 Player Pieces
72 Tool Tokens
24 Suspect Tokens
24 On the Prowl Cards
36 Dexter Calling Cards
40 Dexter on the Job Cards (aka Blood Spatter Report Pieces)
Instruction Pamphlet (Not shown in my photo. Sorry about that!)
The Object of the Game:
Collect your suspect and the tools needed to kill them (This will be listed on your "On the Prowl" card which is distributed at the beginning of the game). Your suspect pieces are collected by landing on 'suspect' spaces and tools are collected by landing on the Hardware Store. Once all are collected, you will race to your kill room (which is the location # listed on the On the Prowl card as well).Once you've hit your location point, announce to the other players you have collected what you need and you are now on your way to the Marina to 'dispose'. Put only your needed pieces into the little trash bag provided and any remaining (unneeded) pieces back onto the board (and cards onto the bottom of their respective card piles). Now it's time to head on over to the Marina! The only way someone will be able to eliminate you from the game, is by landing on the same spot as you (nearly impossible – But we almost did it! Super intense.)…But depending on how far you actually are from the Marina, you could be giving the other players the chance to catch up (and possibly win)!Well…you wouldn't think things are just that easy now would you?
Of course there are bumps along the way, not only stopping you, but your opponents from winning the game!As you can see, the suspect pieces are turned face down on the Suspect Landing Spots, preventing anyone from knowing 'who' is underneath. If you do land on a suspect space, you then pick the token up, regardless if you need that piece or not (possible bad outcome for your opponents!).
Dexter on the Job: 2 of these cards connect together to make 1 Blood Spatter Report.
You must have the corresponding pieces (labeled for example: 8A, 8B). You cannot turn in a Blood Spatter Report without both matching pieces.Landing on Miami Metro: This is where you turn in your Blood Spatter Reports.
It will gain you the ability of a Search Warrant. Which means you can take a look at both the Tool and Suspect Tokens of your opponent…and take one! You must put your Blood Spatter Report cards back to the bottom of the pile once you have taken a token from your opponent.
The Dexter Calling Cards are random tasks, which could have either a positive or negative outcome! And there you have it!
A little insight into the awesome Dexter Board Game
There are also Roll Agains and Miss a Turns (located on both the board and Dexter Calling cards) and the Slice of Life boat board space, which let's you travel to any other Slice of Life space on the board!
Dexter the Board Game would make a killer gift for that crazy Dexter fan in your life…Or for yourself! The holidays are coming, why not grab one now!
