My Review
Sean and Sara’s Haunted House for Charity sets the opening scene for a Halloween treat of a read. But it seems there’s more tricks than treats when Chloe (the local reporter) suddenly dies before the Haunted House segment airs. All eyes are on a certain someone who seems to know a little too much and is just a little too close to Chloe. Could it be frustration, love, betrayal? Or is there something more sinister going on? Sean, Sara and the Pay it Forward team are at it again, hittin’ everyone up with the hard questions and never missing a beat when something seems a little “off”. You can never go wrong with a McKinley “cozy mystery”. Carolyn Arnold is an author whom, no matter what the plot, really makes you feel comfort and ease with her light (but detailed and delightful) writing style. These are the little mysteries that are enjoyed over again and a perfect addition to your cozy mystery collection ?
